B1: This amount represents estimated caryover funding as of October 1, 2021. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L. 117-2, Title II, Subtitle B, Sec. 2101, provides $200,000,000 to the Secretary of Labor, for fiscal year 2021 to remain available until September 20, 2023, to carry out COVID-19 related worker protection activities and oversight of the Secretary's activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. OSHA was provided $100,278,383 of these funds. This apportionment request is for $65,328,296 in carryover funding, of which $42,671,630 will be utilized in FY 2022. The remaining $22,656,666 are reserved for FY 2023.
