(a) The remaining unobligated balances as of September 30, 2024, from amounts made available until September 30, 2024, for ‘‘Departmental Administration—Construction, Major Projects’’ in title II of division F of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (Public Law 116–94) are hereby rescinded, and in addition to amounts otherwise provided by section 101, an amount of additional new budget authority equivalent to the amount rescinded pursuant to this section is hereby appropriated on September 30, 2024, for an additional amount for fiscal year 2024, to remain available until September 30, 2029, and shall be available for the same purposes and under the same authorities provided under such heading in Public Law 116–94, in addition to other funds as may be available for such purposes. (b)(1) Subject to paragraph (2), this section shall be come effective immediately upon enactment of this Act.
