Footnotes for line 6190 (Previous):

A1: To the extent authorized by law, budget authority (BA) amounts are hereby apportioned to the Category B activities listed for FY 2025. The estimated amounts may be increased and the Category C amounts decreased, without further action by OMB. Agency must notify OMB within 10 business days of such adjustments between categories. [Rationale: Footnote signifies that this TAFS has received or may receive automatic apportionment.]

A2: The amount on line 1823 is the required sequestration amount assuming that the Customer Protection Fund's spending authority from offsetting collections equals the sum of the amounts shown on lines 1800 and 1840. If total collections are different from the sum of the amounts shown on lines 1800 and 1840, the amount currently reflected on line 1823 is automatically apportioned so as to reduce by 5.7 percent the amount of 2025 new BA. Because of the indefinite nature of this BA, the sequester amount may not be equal to the amount reflected in the March 11, 2024, OMB Report to the Congress on the BBEDCA 251A Sequestration for Fiscal Year 2025. [Rationale: Footnote signifies that this TAFS has received or may receive automatic apportionment.]
