Joint DOD-VA Medical Facility Demonstration Fund

B1: Purusant to authority under P.L. 119-37 § 221 (Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 - signed into law 11/12/2025) sums as may be deposited into the Medical Care Collections Fund pursuant to section 1729A of title 38, United States Code, for healthcare provided at facilities designated as combined Federal medical facilities as described by section 706 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (Public Law 110–417; 122 Stat. 4500) shall also be available: (1) for transfer to the Joint Department of Defense—Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Facility Demonstration Fund, established by section 1704 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Public Law 111–84; 123 Stat. 2571); and (2) for operations of the facilities designated as combined Federal medical facilities as described by section 706 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (Public Law 110–417; 122 Stat. 4500): Provided, That, notwithstanding section 1704(b)(3) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Public Law 111–84; 123 Stat. 2573), amounts transferred to the Joint Department of Defense—Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Facility Demonstration Fund shall remain available until expended.

B2: Pursuant to the authority in OMB Circular A-11 section 120.21, one or more lines on the apportionment (including lines above line 1920) may have been rounded up and as such, those rounded lines will not match the actuals reported on the SF 133. Agency will ensure that its funds control system will only allot actuals.

A1: To the extent authorized by law, the estimated amount of recoveries of prior year obligations may be increased without further action by OMB. Revised estimates will be submitted to OMB within 10 days of publication of end-of-month accounting reports.
